I love a good story. And any story about adventurous women is even better. Growing up, I imagined my young self exploring the Serengeti or flying high above the Amazon. I was gonna get out in the world and I did.
I am an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist, filmmaker and sustainable travel writer. No Ordinary Life, my directorial debut on a feature documentary film, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and aired on CNN in 2022.

With CNN Presents, the award-winning documentary series, I directed and produced dozens of documentaries, with an early focus on climate change. I also produced Christiane Amanpour's award-winning film, Generation Islam. I've earned more than a dozen journalism awards, including three Emmy Awards and multiple Peabody Awards.
As a child I was fascinated with my uncle's Kodak view camera and would practice taking pictures even when there was no film in the camera. Thats why I'm not in many family photos, because I was taking the pictures.
